How TO Start a Career In Cybersecurity

Hello, my fellow hackers today this is my first blog towards my blogging journey in the field of Cybersecurity I hope you will enjoy it.

Lets start

Before you can take your first step in your future goals, you must make sure that this is a good field for you and even you should be interested in doing that stuff. Computer science(CS) is an analytical field and will demand a lot from you. If you have a good background in mathematics and strong logic skills, then you will most likely do well in this field.

The major factors that are contributing to the growth of the global cybersecurity market is a rise in malware & phishing threats among enterprises that are done by black hat hackers for bad purposes for the demand for Ransom from companies that steal their confidential data leads to growth in demand for cybersecurity solutions and the need for strong authentication methods across regions.

Demand for cybersecurity professionals is on the rise. The Bureau of Labor Statistics reports that the industry will experience job growth of 31% between 2019 and 2030. That is a much faster rate than most other industries will experience.

So guys in the growing cyber world all things are moving towards digitalized area, which means…. the difficulty in handling them i.e there security problems that someone can hack them(Black hat hackers=Black hat refers to a hacker who breaks into a computer system or network with malicious intent.)

Cyber Attacks

The black hat hackers are attacking with various malware, ransomware, viruses, etc. we need to protect them…

Malware Attacks are Increasing

Then we cybersecurity experts, researchers, analyst comes in pictures to protect them using following techniques(we will discuss all techniques in further blogs). Cybersecurity experts are in high demand as private, public, and government sectors scramble to secure their systems and data in the wake of widespread cyber attacks. Industry analyst Cybersecurity Ventures projects that cybercrime will cost the world $8 trillion annually by 2023.

The first step in launching a career in cybersecurity is deciding which career path is right for you and are you interested in doing that, no one should force you to your career decisions. There are two primary career paths that you should decide between before investing in education and training or somewhere other. Once you decided your path, however, there are multiple career options and a varying array of jobs to choose from, depending on your specific interests and skills.

JOBS includes:

  • Chief Information Security Officer
  • Information Security Analyst
  • Global Information Security Director
  • Cybersecurity Consultant
  • Lead Software Security Engineer
  • Cybersecurity Architect
  • Cybersecurity Engineer
  • Penetration Tester
  • Network Administrator
  • Cybersecurity Analyst
  • Cybersecurity Specialist
  • Security Auditor
Digital World

Our world today is undeniably digital. New technologies – from social media and GPS systems to artificial intelligence and digital twins – make the planet we inhabit unrecognizable from even 20 years ago. … The pace at which disruptive technologies are arriving is accelerating – and they’re changing how we live.

OK, it ends up about careers now let’s talk about how you can start and what skills you needed.. so the first thing is analytical thinking which should be different from others. Then it comes to the programming language you know if I frankly tell you there is no need to know all languages you should only know about some which are more important like PYTHON(very important), HTML and some more because there is no need to go deeper inside it we need skills while doing not many languages. Yes, but in cybersecurity, there are some professional which requires most languages with deeper knowledge like Cybersecurity Researchers.

Laptops

The second thing is your laptop, computer compatibility for a virtual penetration testing lab with at least 4-5VMs running: 16-32GB. If you aren’t doing that, you need at least 8GB because running Kali on a VM is a must. Likewise, if you want to run several VM, a late generation 4-6 multicore processor. More clock speed & power helps too!
Ex: i7-7000HQ/i7-9750HAMD Ryzen 3550H/AMD Ryzen 9 4800HS . For password cracking/data crunching a fast multicore processor helps somewhat (GPU is more important) but it’s not required. To make brute force password cracking really fast, get the most recent NVIDIA GPU: 9x0M or even the 10X0 GTX /20X0 RTX/30X0 RTX with as much v RAM & CUDA cores as you can afford.

Don’t worry guys if you don’t have that much money to spend on over best computer or laptop.. just you should have 8GB RAM, 1TB storage, and 2GB graphics that full fill your requirements and any further issue about technical things and any type of help you can submit your request in the contact us page. we will get back to you within few hours with your solutions

So this blog we end up today and sorry to bear my any mistake happened in blog.

Stay safe, stay focus towards your dreams and professions…

Happy Hacking!!
